| The Foresters earns top award for beer quality.
The Royal Forest Inn, affectionately known as 'The Foresters' has
recently won the CaskMarque award for
its
real ale quality. Deb from The Foresters said "We have worked really
hard to gain this award. It is nationally recognised and looks at beer
quality, temperature, taste and clarity. We are proud of this
achievement and it goes to show what can be achieved." Find more

18.1.09 - First Wii night goes down a storm!!
The first Wii night at the Foresters went down very well with the locals
and now looks like it will be a regular fixture every third Sunday of
the month. We had a go at tennis and 10 pin bowling and spent many hours
trying to beat the high score. In the 10
pin
bowling Dan Prout excelled with a score of 277. He tells me that his
score should have been better but we put this down to the quantity of
Strongbow and black that he had consumed!! Next time we will try and
move on to Super Mario Kart and see if we can be any better at that.
Next Wii night will be February 15th at around 8.30. All are welcome for
this evening of fun.
